Den sang jeg også for min mand til vores bryllup. Det kunne være gået bedre, var lidt nervøs, for havde ikke prøvet sammen med bandet inden. Så der gik lige nogle takter før jeg fandt den samme toneart. Men fik alligevel stor ros, og vigtigst af alt, manden var SÅ rørt over det!

Jeg sang en sang, der hedder "Baby" af Shelby Lynne - hun er singer/songwriter fra Nashville, så det er en sådan lidt country/folk-agtig stil. Denne sang er dog blot med guitar som akkompagnement, så den er ret enkel - og måske også en lille smule jazzet. Det er svært at forklare! Jeg sang solo og havde en bekendt med på guitar og min søster på kor i omkvædet. Det gik godt, og der var ikke et øje tørt! Jeg havde i øvrigt fået cd'en, som sangen er på, af min mand ca. et år forinden, så det var faktisk ham, der havde introduceret mig for sangerinden/sangskriveren, så på den måde var den også lidt speciel.

Det var i øvrigt (for mig i hvert fald) meget rart, at den har et "glimt i øjet", så det ikke blev sådan noget super-alvorlig skønsang med høje, lange toner, som måske ville have været lige vel udfordrende på sådan en dag, selv om jeg er ok rutineret. Men det kan i hvert fald anbefales at springe ud i det - det bliver så godt modtaget, selv om der kommer et par skønhedsfejl i udførelsen ...
